About the Author

Author Alex Quinn is a Forensic Behavioral Health Specialist. She is the author of several scholarly articles, books, and papers related to posttraumatic stress disorder ((PTSD), PTSD and crime victimization, police family violence, police brutality, corruption, and abuses of power to name a few. She is a former nurse and has a strong medical background. 

Her mission is to educate others on the topics of police abuse, corruption, and brutality. This controversial topic has lead to many social media posts and conversation through viewing the many abuses of power captured on video by citizens across the world. 

Her experience has moved her to found three non-profit organizations: The National Police Domestic Abuse Foundation, the Post traumatic Stress Disorder Research Institute, and Michigan Forensic Intervention Services.
