A REAL EYE OPENER! When I bought this book I already knew about some of the injustices and corruption that go on in the criminal justice system, but I had no idea how much more goes on behind closed doors, or shall I say, “Behind the Blue Wall.” The story divulges a woman’s heart, and her will to survive. POWER OF THE BADGE
There is so much to say about this book. Overall it is well written, easy to get caught up in the story and hard to put down. The author does a good job portraying the victims mental state of mind throughout the book, as she subtly falls apart from the many abuses and brainwashing techniques used on her by police officers. The victim’s comeback is inspiring. A good ending.

The Next Netflix Series!
I felt like I was watching a TV series! Each chapter had a unique event that occurred to the main character and left me wanting to know what happened next, so of course I had a hard time putting the book down. I stayed up many nights reading because I wanted to see what happened next . What made the book even more interesting is knowing that this was based on a true story.

DARK SIDE OF POLICING
I could totally relate to this book! I was in an abusive relationship with a cop and the book is very accurate in describing police culture, the dark side of policing, and how cops abuse. The book is filled with grit and the author was courageous to fight back against an entire police department. Inspiring ending.
